I joined Making The leap in June 2023 following eight years working at an autism charity to develop a specialist autism at work programme. Prior to that I worked in further education for 15 years in a variety of senior leadership roles ensuring potential students were able to access individualised careers support, financial support as well as accessing relevant courses.

I am passionate about the work delivered at Making The Leap and wish I had been able to access their programmes when I was a young adult. I left school at 16yrs old, went to college for a year then worked in retail before finding work in a further education college. It was in my role there I realised I wanted to help others who may not have had access to the right support to enter the workforce successfully, just like me!

In my role as Director of Programmes and Innovation I will work with colleagues across education partnerships, programme development, growing our programme to reach more young adults across England, and seek to collaborate with partners of similar values as Making The Leap.
