Introducing our brand-new website! Welcome to MTLZA!

Introducing our brand-new website! Welcome to MTLZA! You might be wondering what that stands for, it’s Making the Leap – (Generation) Z and Alpha. This website is for the use of young aspiring professionals in London who come from less-advantaged backgrounds. For these aspiring professionals we offer a range of services focusing on building skills, access to corporate opportunities, and our continued support in their journey to employment.

Applying to jobs can be quite scary, especially when they’re asking for experience and skills that you may feel you don’t have yet. There have been many jobs that you might have liked the sound of and not applied to due to fear of rejection, or you applied not even knowing the importance of selling yourself. It might be that your career expectations are different to what you are experiencing, believing that with a degree a lot of doors would be open, growing with big dreams to one day go to university and IMMEDIATELY be working in your dream career. Shocker! The reality is that just casually applying to one job a day on Indeed or Reed and using the same recycled CV is not the way to go about looking for employment. If you relate, don’t beat yourself up, it’s all in the process of learning!

Our goal (call it a mission, if you will) is to change young lives. There’s a certain fulfilment that comes with investing in young lives and nothing beats seeing them succeed. In fact, 97% of the young people who have completed our workshop say they have increased self-esteem and have had their aspirations raised.

You don’t have to be a graduate to access our services, you might be considering university, or even want a change in career and want to explore more options available to you.

Interested? Stay tuned for more!
